Job Description

We are a well-established, one-doctor private optometry practice in Lake Worth seeking a friendly, dependable Optometric Technician to join our team. Our practice is known for providing personalized care and building long-term relationships with our patients. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and wants to be part of a supportive team environment. Previous optometric or ophthalmic experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for their exams Obtain patient histories and update medical records Perform pre-testing, including visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, and other diagnostic testing Assist the doctor with patient flow throughout the day Educate patients on recommended testing and treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records Help create an exceptional patient experience from check-in through checkout Qualifications Previous experience in an optometry, ophthalmology, or medical office preferred Friendly with strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask Professional appearance and demeanor Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records Dependable, positive, and team-oriented What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Stable, consistent schedule Closed Sundays & Wednesdays Supportive and respectful work environment Established patient base and positive office culture We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job—we are seeking a team member who values patient relationships, professionalism, and long-term growth. Pay:
