About My Eye Guy At My Eye Guy , we do more than care for eyes — we care for people. Our practice is built on the belief that every patient deserves personalized attention, clear communication, and a warm, welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door. We're currently seeking an optometric technician who is passionate about both eye health and exceptional customer service. Position Summary As an optometric technician at My Eye Guy , you'll be the first friendly face our patients meet and a key part of their experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and has a talent for making people feel comfortable and cared for. You'll assist the optometrist with clinical procedures, educate patients, and help maintain an efficient, compassionate flow throughout the office. Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and guide them through the pre-exam process Perform pre-testing procedures (autorefraction, tonometry, visual acuity, retinal imaging, etc.) Educate patients on procedures, eye care products, and contact lens care Support the optometrist during eye exams and with documentation Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and prepared Handle patient inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy Assist with scheduling, check-in/out, and general administrative tasks as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations What We're Looking For Friendly, energetic personality with a strong customer service focus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Experience in an optometry or medical office is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person Comfort with basic technology and willingness to learn electronic health records (EHR) systems A team player with a positive attitude and desire to grow with the practice Why Join My Eye Guy?
