We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our dynamic team.Job Description:
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will support Dr. Levitt in delivering exceptional patient care. Your role will involve performing a variety of diagnostic and clinical tasks to assess and monitor patients' eye health including obtaining patient histories, conducting vision tests, preparing patients for procedures, and performing diagnostic tests such as Visual Fields, OCTs, Fundus Photos and biometry measurements for cataract surgery. Experience with Nextech/Intellechart Pro EHR is a plus!Qualifications:
A smile and a positive, energetic, enthusiastic attitude are a must! At least 2 years of experience working in an ophthalmology practice. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear instructions to patients. Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality. Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. High School diploma or equivalent Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus Required skills: Refraction Goldmann tonometry HVF OCT Fundus Photos You will be joining not only a medical team, but a professional family, in a fun, energetic and enjoyable place to work.
