Job Description
At Spectacle Eyecare we are looking for the right person to join our growing team. All applicants MUST have a great attitude, a friendly demeanor, good customer service skills and detail oriented. This position will focus on clinical duties, but some administrative duties will be required at times. Previous experience is a plus, but not required. Clinical Duties Preparing patients for examinations Administering tests prior to the eye exam Autorefraction NCT Auto lensometry Digital retinal imaging (Optos) Assisting doctors during examinations, if needed Teaching contact lens insertion and removal to new wearers Scanning paperwork into patients charts Coordinating with contact lens reps to maintain trial supplies Administrative Job Duties Greeting and directing patients promptly with a smile Answering telephones Updating and maintaining Electronic Medical Records Obtaining insurance verification and authorization Scheduling appointments Processing insurance claim forms Billing vision insurance
