We are hiring an ophthalmic assistant/techician for a full-time position to provide exceptional care for our patients. Duties Assist optometrist with patient care, including taking patient history and performing preliminary and diagnostic tests. Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits. Open and close exam lanes daily. Administer eye drops as directed by the optometrist. Assist with contact lens fittings and teach patients how to insert, remove, and care for their lenses. Maintain inventory and order supplies for office and exam rooms. Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering and triaging phone calls, process patient check-in and check-out, verifying insurance information, organizing and reconciling documents. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Requirements Computer/technology skills - ability to learn and operate various technology equipment in the office; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients of all ages. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Collaborate well with others. Retail sales experience is a plus. Provide exceptional customer service. 8:00 AM - 5:00PM Saturday:
