Ophthalmic Assistant

Ophthalmic Medical Assistant:

Opening for Ophthalmic Medical Assistant for fast paced Ophthalmology Practice in Kapolei. Job Duties include but not limited to: Performing initial patient exams, to include: patient history and vision testing.

Performs automated and manual testing:

Auto-refraction, Humphrey Visual Fields, OCT. Has work experience with an EMR System (electronic Medical Records). Assist providers with injections, minor surgery, while maintaining practice standards of sterile techniques and infection control.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of medical terminology, enthusiastic, positive team player, strong organization and attention to detail, great listening skills. Willing to cross train in various departments. Reliability and ability to multitask is a must. Experience preferred but will train the right candidate. Please email resume and 3 references. No phone calls please.
