Receptionist Location:
Downtown Chicago (The Loop)
Schedule:
Part-Time, 3-4 Days Per Week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and select Fridays) Franklin Eye Care is seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Optometric Technician/Receptionist to join our team in the heart of downtown Chicago. We provide comprehensive medical and optical eye care in a modern, upscale practice focused on advanced technology and exceptional patient experiences. No extensive optical experience is required—we are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist patients with a professional and friendly demeanor Schedule appointments and manage patient communications Perform preliminary patient testing and assist with clinical procedures Support doctors and staff in delivering outstanding patient care Assist with optical sales and frame selection Maintain accurate patient records and office organization Participate in practice marketing and social media initiatives
What You'll Learn:
Advanced diagnostic and optometric technology Dry eye treatment procedures, including Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Radiofrequency therapies Optical dispensing and patient education Practice operations, marketing, and patient engagement strategies
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous medical, optical, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Why Join Franklin Eye Care?
