Work hours are somewhere between 7 am and 5:30 pm dependent on the position and patient needs. Some positions may work on a Saturday rotation with hours between 7 am and 12 pm. To perform an extensive number of data collection functions as delegated by the physician to allow for proper professional diagnosis of patients and to do so in a way that instills patient confidence in the treatment. Demonstrate ophthalmic technician skills.Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalentEssential Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the eye, optics, testing techniques, utilization of equipment relative to position. Problem solver Analytical Perfectionist Personable Organized Patient management skills Efficient on computers, type at least 30 wpmPreferred:
