This is a hybrid Optician & Technician role , perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and being hands-on in patient care. You'll work closely with a small, supportive team where your ideas, initiative, and growth truly matter. What You'll Do Provide exceptional patient experiences from check-in to check-out Sell, fit, adjust, and dispense high-quality eyewear and contact lenses Submit and bill vision plans accurately and efficiently Assist with patient workups, including pre-testing and imaging Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with daily front-desk needs Verify insurance and interpret benefits for medical and vision plans Maintain an organized optical area and stay familiar with inventory and products Support practice growth through teamwork, flexibility, and problem-solving We will train you on our equipment, including auto-refractor, iCare tonometer, and Optomap imaging. Who You Are An experienced optician/technician who enjoys both patient care and optical sales A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Style-savvy with confidence in frame selection and fitting Organized, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment A self-starter who sees the "big picture" and takes initiative Flexible and adaptable as the practice continues to grow A true team player who values collaboration and shared success Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of experience in the optical field preferred Experience working with vision plans such as VSP, EyeMed, Spectera , etc. Willingness to work one Saturday per month Passion for contributing beyond your role to support practice efficiency and growth Why You'll Love Working Here Supportive, family-style team culture Opportunity to grow with an expanding private practice Variety in your day—no two days look the same Your contributions and ideas truly matter Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level
