We are the largest Retina Practice in Northern Indiana and rapidly growing. We have three highly qualified board certified and fellowship trained physicians specializing in retinal disease.

Growth opportunities Friendly work environment Our organization is looking for an experienced Ophthalmic Scribe to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in ophthalmology and experience in performing eye exams, testing vision, and assisting with patient care. Ideal candidate will have experience scribing for a retina physician with complete understanding of how to document assessment and plan. Experience with EMR is a must (Experience with Nextech MDI system is a plus). Experience with preparing patients with retina procedures. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor. Must be able to multi task in a high volume retina practice with fast pace throughout the day. Responsibilities:
Assist the ophthalmologist in patient examinations and procedures. Perform visual acuity tests and other vision tests. Prepare patients for in office retina procedures. Administer eye drops and other medications as directed by the ophthalmologist. Maintain patient records and charts. Assist in the diagnosis of eye diseases and disorders. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and optical coherence tomography.
