Job Description
About Us Join one of Lawrence's best eye care practices! We are an established privately owned and operated clinic specializing in medical eye health for patients of all ages. Our team is known for being collaborative, compassionate, and efficient, and we're looking for someone who shares those values. Position Overview We're seeking a dependable, patient-focused individual to support our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable with technology. What You'll Do Prepare patients for exams by performing preliminary testing Review and confirm medical and medication histories Perform diagnostic testing on patients of all ages (with a focus on senior care) Administer eye drops as needed Assist with maintaining inventory (including eye vitamins) Support the doctor and team to ensure smooth patient flow Collect copays and read insurance benefits Other duties as needed to provide the best experience possible for patients Diagnostic Testing Includes Autorefraction Intraocular Pressure (IOP), including iCare tonometry Optomap retinal imaging Visual field testing OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) and OCT-A Corneal topography AdaptDX (macular degeneration testing) RETeval (electroretinography testing) Other testing as needed and as we evolve What We're Looking For Team-oriented with a positive attitude Friendly, confident, and professional with patients Strong multitasking and adaptability skills Comfortable using computers and electronic health records Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Excellent verbal communication skills Compassionate and respectful toward people from all backgrounds Able to stay on your feet for extended periods occasionally
Pay:
