Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our premier ophthalmology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys a high-volume, surgical environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional eye care.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care:
Conduct comprehensive eye exams, manage acute and chronic ophthalmic conditions, and perform diagnostic testing (OCT, Visual Fields, etc.).
Surgical Support:
Assist in the OR for various procedures (Cataract, Glaucoma, or Retina) and manage pre-operative and post-operative care.
Patient Education:
Explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and surgical expectations to patients and their families.
Procedural Tasks:
Perform minor in-office procedures such as injections, suture removals, and emergency triage.
Qualifications Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Certification:
Current NCCPA certification and state licensure (or eligibility).
Experience:
Previous experience in ophthalmology or surgery is preferred, but we are willing to train a motivated new graduate with a strong interest in the field.
Skills:
