Job Description

Busy retina practice seeking a highly motivated and skilled Ophthalmic Photographer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality ophthalmic images for diagnostic and treatment purposes. You will work closely with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and reliable imaging.
Responsibilities:
Capture ophthalmic images using specialized equipment, including fundus cameras, slit lamps, and OCT devices. Follow established protocols and guidelines for ophthalmic imaging. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment. Assist in the preparation of patients for imaging procedures. Document and process images for storage and analysis. Provide technical support and training to other staff members. Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment. Demonstrate a strong understanding of ophthalmic anatomy and disease processes. Maintain confidentiality and ensure the safety of patients.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in clinical setting is highly desirable Strong understanding of ophthalmic imaging techniques and protocols Excellent technical skills and ability to operate and maintain specialized equipment Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
