Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to: patient work up and history taking, performing ophthalmic testing, handling prescription and refill requests, etc. The candidate must be a team player and detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. The candidate must be compassionate, respectful and demonstrate extreme professionalism to patients, coworkers and supervisors. This job is full time with benefits. Experience recommended but not required. Cover letter, Resume and References required with application.

Full-time Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour based on experience Responsibilities and Duties Enables clinic operations by effectively managing the patient flow in and out of exam rooms. Retrieves and collates patient information for provider. Cleans stocks and maintains exam rooms, procedure rooms, instruments and equipment and prepares patient for provider exam. Obtains ophthlamic testing (near and distant visual acuity, amsler grid, color vision, stereo vision) Cleans, disinfects and packs instruments Documents pertinent patient information in medical record (including, but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, brief history, patient instructions, communication of test results, etc). Ensures future appointments have been scheduled or communicated and referrals/pre-authorizations have been initiated and obtained.
Qualifications and Skills Skills:
Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently Strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate with patients to ensure excellent customer service Knowledge of keyboarding, data entry, and basic computer skills Ability to be a strong team player Excellent people skills a must!
