Weeks Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be skilled in ophthalmic testing, patient flow coordination, and assisting providers in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

Escort patients to and from exam rooms Obtain patient history, including eye symptoms, medications, and allergies Perform visual acuity testing and intraocular pressure measurements Administer eye drops and prepare patients for examinations Conduct visual fields, OCT, fundus photography, autorefraction, lensometry, and topography Perform refractions and assist with ophthalmic procedures Monitor patient flow and provider schedules Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and ophthalmic equipment

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required Certified as COA, COT, or COMT through JCAHPO Minimum 1 year of ophthalmic technician experience Strong communication and organizational skills

From $49.00 per hour
