Full-Time About Us Longwood Eye & LASIK is a fast-growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology and optometry practice dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care. With a team of experienced physicians and staff, we provide comprehensive eye care including cataract, glaucoma, retina, LASIK, and oculoplastics services. Position Overview We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and patient-focused individual to join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician . This is an entry-level position — no prior experience required . We provide full training for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in healthcare, patient care, or pursuing a career in ophthalmology or medical assisting. What You'll Do Prepare patients for exams by gathering medical history and chief complaints Perform preliminary testing (vision, intraocular pressure, imaging, etc.) Assist physicians during patient visits Document findings accurately in our electronic medical record system Ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow Provide excellent customer service and patient care What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability (attendance is critical) Friendly, professional demeanor with patients and team members Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and willingness to learn Interest in healthcare or ophthalmology Bonus (not required): Experience in healthcare, customer service, or medical office settings What We Offer Paid training — no experience needed Competitive hourly pay Full benefits package, including: Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) Uniform allowance Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Why Join Us?
