Ophthalmic Technician Bowie, MD Pay From:
$22 per hour
MUST:
Ophthalmic Technician needs to have the following experience: 1+year of experience in an Eye Center or Ophthalmic Practice site Experience rooming patients and performing various eye screenings Experience performing manual refractions Goldmann applanation tonometry and experience using slit lamps Performing eye dilation Performing visual acuity measurements
DUTIES:
. The duties of the Opt Tech include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Conduct ophthalmic testing Perform manual refractions Perform pressure testing using Goldmann applanation tonometry using a slit lamp Perform visual acuity measurements and topographical mapping Perform eye dilation, color vision testing, A & B scan ultrasounds, ophthalmic photography, fluorescein angiography, corneal topography, Heidelberg Retinal Tomography, Optical Coherence Tomography Complete patient forms Stock and maintain medication and medical supplies Perform specialized ophthalmic testing and assist with minor surgical procedures Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
