Job Description

Retina Specialists of Michigan is proud to be the only privately owned retina practice in West Michigan. We focus on providing quality care and putting our patients first. With nine physicians, we specialize in vitreoretinal diseases along with sub-specialties in every field of medical and surgical retina including, pediatric retina, uveitis, and ocular oncology. We are looking for a Full Time Ophthalmic Technician who are caring and compassionate, motivated and eager to learn, looking for a patient-centered, team-focused workplace, and wants to help make a difference in others' lives. Many of our patients have very complicated health problems that may not be limited to the eye. These patients come to us for specialized care and vision saving treatment. As an ophthalmic technician you will play an important role in the well-being of our patients; providing them with high quality care, being a calming and knowledgeable health professional, and helping them through their eye health journey. Job duties include but are not limited to: obtaining patient medical history, checking vision and eye pressure, using various equipment for ophthalmic imaging, and assisting our physicians. Must be willing to travel to our satellite locations as well. Ophthalmology/Medical experience preferred but not required. We offer competitive wages and excellent benefits.
