CLEAR VISION CENTER
Ophthalmic Technician Full-Time On-Site Clinical Team
YOU'RE NOT JUST FIXING VISION. YOU'RE CHANGING LIVES.
Every person who walks through our doors carries a story. At Clear Vision Center, we take that seriously. Our work isn't just vision correction — it's giving people back the moments that matter most: seeing a child's face clearly for the first time without reaching for glasses, the freedom to live without limitations, the confidence that comes with truly seeing the world. We're building toward a single vision: to be the most trusted destination for premium vision correction — recognized for consistently superior outcomes and a standard of care that redefines what patients expect from elective eye surgery. Our mission is to deliver that through precision surgery, advanced technology, and an unmatched patient experience. That mission starts with you. As an Ophthalmic Technician at Clear Vision Center, you are the patient's first clinical impression of who we are. You set the tone. You gather the critical data. You are the foundation upon which life-changing outcomes are built. If you hold yourself to an extraordinary standard, care deeply about the people in front of you, and refuse to settle for ordinary — you belong here.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll work alongside our surgeons and clinical team using state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, ensuring every patient interaction reflects our core commitment to Precision in Everything, Compassionate Care, and a Premium Experience. No two days are identical — but every day, you'll leave knowing your work mattered.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
▪ Perform comprehensive pre-operative testing including autorefraction, corneal topography, wavefront analysis, lens biometry, OCT, photography and pachymetry ▪ Conduct thorough patient intake: medical history, chief complaint, and visual acuity testing ▪ Operate, calibrate, and maintain advanced diagnostic equipment to the highest standard ▪ Educate patients on procedures, pre/post-operative care instructions, and realistic expectations — with clarity and compassion ▪ Document all clinical findings accurately and completely in the electronic medical record (EMR) ▪ Collaborate fluidly with surgeons, optometrists, surgical coordinators, and front office staff to ensure seamless patient flow ▪ Uphold our standard of a premium patient experience from the moment of first contact to final follow-up ▪ Take ownership of your workspace, your instruments, and your results — because small things are not small here
WHO YOU ARE
▪ Compassionate. You lead with compassion — every patient deserves dignity and your full attention, not just efficient throughput ▪ Precise. You sweat the details — precision isn't a preference, it's a non-negotiable ▪ Accountable. You take ownership — when something isn't right, you don't wait to be asked; you fix it ▪ Collaborative. You communicate clearly and respectfully — with patients who are nervous, and teammates who are counting on you ▪ Growth-Driven. You're hungry to grow — in your skills, your certifications, and your impact on the people you serve
QUALIFICATIONS
▪ COA, COT, or COMT certification preferred — or actively in progress ▪ 1+ years of ophthalmic technician or ophthalmic assistant experience preferred ▪ Experience in a cataract or refractive surgery setting (LASIK, PRK, SMILE) is a strong plus ▪ Proficiency with diagnostic instruments (Pentacam, IOL master, OCT, topographers, autorefractors) ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in multitasking ▪ A genuine, demonstrable passion for patient care and clinical excellence
WHY CLEAR VISION CENTER
We're not a high-volume mill. We're a team that holds every outcome, every interaction, and every detail to a premium standard. You'll have access to leading-edge technology, a culture built on Extreme Ownership and Collaborative Communication, and a leadership team that invests in your growth — because a practice that stands still falls behind, and we're anything but standing still. Join us. Help us give people back the moments that matter most.
