Job Description
No degree or certification required Do you enjoy working with people? Are you caring, energetic, and a team player? Opticare is hiring a full-time Optometric Technician and will train the right person. You'll work with a friendly team to help patients get the best vision possible. What You'll Do Perform basic eye tests (vision, eye pressure, color vision, etc.) Take eye images and run additional tests Assist patients with proper care and use of contact lenses Update patient records and medical history on the computer Explain services and costs to patients Order and manage contact lens inventory Keep exam rooms stocked and clean What We're Looking For Friendly and caring attitude Reliable and enthusiastic Good with people Comfortable using computers Preferred (but not required): Experience in an eye clinic Knowledge of contact lenses and glasses Familiarity with medical equipment
