Full job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Record patient's presenting complaint and associated symptoms. Update patients medical and ocular history, medications and allergies Perform and document ophthalmic testing and preliminary evaluation of patients efficiently (i.e. imaging, visual field testing, ophthalmic biometry, visual acuity, intraocular pressure checks, dilation, refracting) Assist providers in caring for patients in a timely, efficient manner Instruct patients on medical care as prescribed by the doctor's treatment plan and schedules follow up appointments as needed Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or equivalent. Experience in an Ophthalmic Clinic Preferred but not required This position is a 40 hour per week position, regularly working M-F between the hours of 7:15am - 4:30pm.
