Part Time Optometry Technician

Join our team: Here at Ettinger Optometry, we are a small optometry practice that is located on Ft. Leonard Wood. We provide eye care needs to people of all ages. We are currently seeking an individual to join our team and help the world see a little clearer each day.

About the position:

As an Optometry Technician, you will be creating and scheduling patient appointments, verifying and billing patient insurance, screening and assisting with examinations, as well as providing a positive experience to our patients. Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Checking patients into our system
• Creating patient appointments over the phone and in person
• Verifying patient insurance
• Billing vision insurance
• Pre-testing for examinations
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the office and equipment

Education:

• No education required

Skills:

• Able to type at least 25 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.

We are currently seeking a part time employee to work Friday and Saturday for a weekly total of 16 to 18 hours per week. No experience is required; however, customer service experience is a plus.

Pay:

$15.25 per hour starting.
