We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optometric Technician to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring an excellent patient experience and supporting our doctors in delivering top-notch eye care. Education and Experience Previous experience in optometry, dental, or medical office is preferred but not required Prior experience with in-person patient care and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) is highly valued Skills We value intelligence, professionalism, dependability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Friendly and patient-focused Organized and detail-oriented Dependable and punctual Comfortable learning new technologies and equipment Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator and team player Primary Job Duties The Optometric Technician will assist doctors and patients throughout the entire eye examination process: Welcome patients and assist with check-in procedures Obtain patient medical histories and chief complaints Perform preliminary testing and diagnostic measurements Assist doctors during patient examinations as needed Educate patients regarding procedures, treatments, and recommendations Clinical Support Operate and maintain ophthalmic testing equipment Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical workflow Assist with contact lens training and patient education Administrative Support Schedule appointments and assist with patient communications Verify insurance information and assist with patient paperwork Support front office operations as needed Team & Office Support Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure excellent patient care Assist with special projects and clinic initiatives as needed Why Join Focus Eye Care?
