Are you passionate about eye care and ready to be part of a dynamic, busy optometry practice? We are seeking a dedicated Optometric/Medical Assistant to support our team across two thriving locations.

Position:

Optometric/Medical Assistant Locations:

Two busy offices (Picayune, Ms and Pearl River, LA)

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM

• 5:30

PM What You'll Do:

Assist optometrists during eye exams and medical procedures Perform pre-exam assessments including vision tests and patient history Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience Assist with contact lens training and instruction Handle patient records and insurance paperwork with accuracy Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment Educate patients on eye care and follow-up procedures Travel between both clinic locations is required

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience as an optometric or medical assistant is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Compassionate and friendly attitude toward patients Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy practice Must have high school diploma or equivalent Why Join Us?
