We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Bilingual Ophthalmic Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Assist ophthalmologists with patient exams and diagnostic testing Perform preliminary eye exams, including visual acuity tests and tonometry Administer eye drops and assist with minor procedures Educate patients on treatments, medications, and post-visit care Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic equipment Accurately document patient history and test results in electronic medical records (EMR) Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring clear communication in both
English and Spanish Requirements:
Fluency in Spanish and English (required) Previous experience as an ophthalmic technician preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate COA or COT certification is a plus Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
