The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
  • Comfortable with computers/technology : We use Macs, iPads, and specialized cameras in clinic. It's important to be tech savvy and know your way around office equipment.
Team Player :
There are many moving parts in our practice. We need someone who will be ready to pitch in where they're needed without constantly being told where to be and what to do.
  • Exceptional communication: Ability to read, understand and retain information.
  • Quick learner and sharp mind: There is a lot to learn! Being able to perform the tasks assigned with minimal errors is VERY important!
Dependable :
We stive to take excellent care of our patients. This is only possible when staff is on time and present for shifts. It's very important for this individual to be
EXTREMELY
dependable .
  • Positive attitude/outlook : We take care of all people. This individual must be able to demonstrate patience, grace, discernment, and kindness.
Self-starter/Efficient :
Taking initiative is key! Every day gives the opportunity to be better than yesterday. Using time wisely to complete action tasks is very important. An exceptional candidate will have the above-mentioned skill set and familiarity with fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and OCT testing. Bilingual is a PLUS! Phlebotomy is a PLUS!
