Our team works to ensure outstanding care and great experiences for every patient. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is professional, tech-savvy, and passionate about patient care. Responsibilities Perform preliminary testing, including auto-refraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, and visual field testing. Gather patient medical history and reason for visit accurately in our electronic health records (Barti Software). Assist the optometrist with specialized testing, including dry eye workups and specialty lens fittings. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and ensure all equipment is properly calibrated. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Qualifications Previous experience as an Optometric Technician or in a medical office setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Background in sales or customer service roles enhances ability to assist patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
