Optometric Tech About Us:
We're a patient-focused optometry practice looking for someone who's reliable, friendly, and ready to learn. If you enjoy working with people and want to grow in the eye-care field, you'll fit in well here.Responsibilities:
Greet patients and prepare them for exams Perform pre-testing: visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, etc. Enter accurate patient history and insurance information Assist the doctor during exams as needed Teach patients contact lens insertion/removal (training provided) Maintain a clean and organized clinical area Support front desk and optical team when neededQualifications:
- Must be able to work at 8 AM and 1 PM one Saturday a month
- Experience in eye care is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Comfortable with technology and learning new equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
