Optometric Technician / Receptionist

Overview Eagle Rock Eyecare LLC (located inside Target Optical) is a modern, patient-focused optometry practice seeking a dependable and personable Optometric Technician to join our team every Friday and Saturday . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, thrives in an organized, fast-paced clinical setting, and likes having a consistent schedule. Responsibilities Check patients in and out professionally and efficiently Verify and file vision and medical insurance information Perform patient pre-testing (auto-refraction, non-contact tonometry, retinal imaging, auto-lensometry, etc.) and document findings accurately Collect co-pays and process payments Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating return visits Support with submitting insurance claims and stocking contact lens trials when needed Address patient questions over the phone and in person to ensure an exceptional patient experience Qualifications Optometric or ophthalmic experience preferred (willing to train strong customer-service candidates) Excellent communication and multitasking skills Detail-oriented and comfortable with electronic health records (experience with RevolutionEHR is a plus) Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Reliable, punctual, and professional If you are friendly, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care, we would love to hear from you!
