About Us Optic Gallery DTS is a boutique optometry practice where modern tech meets understated elegance. We're a tight-knit crew that values culture as much as clinical precision. Position Overview We're looking for a hybrid optical professional who can move seamlessly between optical sales and pretesting/technician duties . You'll guide patients through selecting eyewear and run the diagnostic tests that set the doctor up for a perfect exam. Think part stylist, part tech wizard—delivering a premium patient experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Optical Sales Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their prescription, style, and lifestyle Take precise measurements for proper fit and alignment Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care Submit insurance claims and process lab orders accurately Adjust and repair eyewear with confidence Pretesting / Technician Welcome patients and put them instantly at ease Perform pre-exam tests: autorefractor, tonometry, retinal imaging, visual fields Record results in our electronic health record (EHR) Prep exam rooms and keep equipment spotless and photo-ready Qualifications Previous optical experience strongly preferred (dispensing or technician) Friendly, polished communicator who thrives in a boutique, fast-paced setting Detail-oriented and tech-curious Dependable and punctual—you show up on time and can be counted on every shift Strong work ethic and natural team player—pitch in without being asked Comfort with insurance billing and vision benefits is a plus Brings integrity, attention to detail, and a warm, professional presence to every patient interaction Schedule Monday through Saturday, with Saturday availability strongly preferred Sunday and one weekday off each week Benefits Hourly pay plus team bonus opportunities 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account & life insurance Paid time off & retirement plan Staff eyewear perks & uniform allowance Modern, light-filled workspace designed with quiet sophistication How to Apply Submit your résumé and a short note on why you'd be a great fit to opticgallerydts@gmail.com
