  • Full-time Nevada Retina Associates is seeking a motivated, energetic, and dependable full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team.
We are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in eye anatomy, retinal diseases, diagnostic testing, and specialized ophthalmic care. This position will float between out Carson City and Reno offices. Primary Responsibilities Perform patient work-ups, obtain medical histories, and conduct specialized diagnostic testing Assist physicians with patient care and patient education Help maintain efficient clinic flow and provide exceptional customer service Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms for daily operations Communicate with patients regarding follow-up care and return phone calls Qualifications & Skills Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and punctuality Desire to learn and grow in the medical field Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred COA, COT, or COMT certification preferred, but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits We offer competitive pay and an excellent benefits package, including: Medical and dental insurance 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) 9 paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Performance-based bonus opportunities
Starting Pay:
$19
  • 24 per hour, depending on experience.
