Job Description
Part time ophthalmic tech or medical assistant needed in an ophthalmology practice in Huntington area. Knowledge of medical condition a plus. Will train to be an ophthalmic assistant or tech. Knowledge of computers, microsoft programs (word, excel, etc) is a must Excellent work ethics and good interpersonal skills required Spanish or Chinese language is a plus. Pay is dependant on experience. Summary As a Medical Assistant or Ophthalmic Technician, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care within our ophthalmology practice. This role requires proficiency in medical office operations, including knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. You will be responsible for patient intake, taking vital signs, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your ability to communicate in Chinese or Spanish will enhance patient interactions. Additionally, familiarity with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools will support efficient administrative tasks.
