LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN
Fast paced practice looking to add a self motivated, autonomous, and professional individual to our growing team. Responsibilities Perform all preliminary components of the ophthalmic work up depending on orders/protocols for the exam type Document chief complaint and full history in the EHR in a timely manner Perform diagnostic testing Maintain confidentiality with all patient information according to HIPAA laws Minimum Education and Experience Certification/past ophthalmology experience is required Basic understanding of medical terminology and general medical knowledge strongly preferred Excellent listening and note-taking skills Computer skills, including use of EHR and Microsoft Office Strong communication skills, including grammatical, spelling, and verbal Detail-oriented with proven ability to work effectively working under conditions requiring accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Capable of working well on a team Patient oriented Ability to work in a fast paced environment Expected hours are 7:00-3:30 Monday/Wednesday/Thursday, 8:00-3:00 Tuesday, 8:00-12:00
