Full-Time Location:
In Person We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and patient-focused Optometric Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the doctor by performing clinical testing and ensuring an exceptional patient experience from check-in through exam completion. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and performing preliminary testing Assist the doctor during patient exams as needed Clean, sanitize, and restock exam rooms between patients Maintain accurate documentation in patient records Support front office operations when needed (filing, faxing, scanning, transcribing, etc.) Provide outstanding customer service and patient support Ensure compliance with office procedures and healthcare standards Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in an optometric or medical office preferred (but willing to train the right candidate) Comfortable using office equipment and electronic medical records systems Professional demeanor and appearance Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented Positive attitude with a strong commitment to patient care What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience 401(k) and 401(k) matching Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Employee discount Flexible scheduling options If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and patient-focused environment, we would love to hear from you.
