Frame Stylist Position:
We are looking for a personable, friendly, and energetic person to join our team. Our office is very team oriented, and although main responsibilities will be optometric technician (pre-testing including patient intake and history, autorefraction, visual field, OCT imaging and contact lens ordering), there will be times when scheduling, answering phones and styling frames will be necessary. Our practice is an excellent place to develop your career and professional skills. We are big believers in helping you maintain and advance your career. About the Practice You will be working with a fantastic team including 2 optometrists, and 3 additional staff members. We treat patients ranging from pediatrics (little kiddies) to geriatrics (65 year old+) and everything in between. Our doctors are some of the best in the area. We thrive off of the positive experience that each patient has starting with the interaction at the front desk when they first walk in the door, to the time they spend in the exam rooms, and then fulfilling all of their optical needs to be able to see an Inspired life. Optometric Technician Responsibilities
- Patient history intake into electronic records system
- Pre-testing including autorefraction, visual field, OCT and ocular photography, eye pressure measurements, and more
- Scheduling patients
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Answering phone calls when needed
- Ordering contact lens trials and office supplies when needed Because of our team approach, there may be times when the following are also required for office efficiency, but will not be the primary focus of this particular role and training will be provided:
- Assisting in frame selection
- Entering an optical order
- Customer education
- Minor adjustments and repairs to glasses This position would be considered full time time at approximately 30 hours/week.
