Full-Time / Part-Time About Us Norman Vision Clinic is a patient-focused optometry practice dedicated to delivering exceptional eye care in a warm, supportive environment. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Optometric Technician (Paraoptometric) to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping others, working with technology, and being part of a collaborative office, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Greet patients and guide them through the pre-testing process Perform diagnostic testing, including autorefraction, retinal imaging, visual field testing, and tonometry Accurately record patient histories and update electronic health records (EHR) Assist the optometrist during examinations as needed Educate patients on contact lens care and eyewear options Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and equipment Support front desk operations when needed (scheduling, phone calls, insurance verification) Qualifications Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a medical office preferred (but willing to train the right person) Strong communication and customer service skills Comfort with technology and EHR systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude High school diploma or equivalent required;CPO/CPOA
