Our work environment includes:

On-the-job training Modern office setting Experience in the optometry field is preferred but not required. Applicant must be friendly, engaging, and empathetic. Technicians will be adequately trained to interact confidently and effectively with our patients and shall be able to accurately administer any testing that is required for patient encounters. The technician is responsible for ensuring the rooms and equipment have been cleaned between every patient. Technicians are to inventory supplies on the supply list every week and to turn the inventory list into the manager for ordering. Technicians shall also be adequately trained to instruct patients in contact lens insertion and removal and be able to help adjust, order, and dispense frames when necessary. Technicians will also be trained and expected to assist the doctor with transcribing, patient encounters, and procedures.
