Company Overview Cascade Eyecare Center is a leading ophthalmology office that combines expert eye care with an optical shop and an ambulatory surgery center. Our mission is to provide comprehensive eye care services with a focus on patient satisfaction and advanced medical practices. Summary We are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our dedicated team at Cascade Eyecare Center. In this role, you will assist in providing high-quality patient care and support the ophthalmologists in various clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. Salary range dependent on experience. Responsibilities Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures. Perform preliminary tests on patients, including, but not limited to visual acuity and intraocular pressure measurements. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients about eye health and post-operative care instructions. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Phone Triage Requirements Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy related to eye care. Experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems. Understanding of medical coding practices is beneficial but not required. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally and pleasantly with patients and staff.
