Ophthalmic Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Perform routine vision screenings and document comprehensive medical and ocular histories.

Clinical Support:

Perform diagnostic testing, assist with in-office procedures, and administer eye drops.

Pharmacy and Insurance coordination:

Manage prescriptions with pharmacies and handle pre-authorization with insurance providers.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior Ophthalmology experience is required.

Skills:

Ability to work independently and multitask in a high volume clinic.

Mindset:

Extremely organized with a focus on patient satisfaction and clinical accuracy.
