About us Heimer, Fiore, Turco Eye Care & Surgery is a medical practice located in State College (main office), Bellefonte and Tyrone, PA.
Our work environment includes:
Work days: Monday through Friday (NO weekends or evenings hours) On-the-job training Modern office setting Growth opportunities Company perks The Ophthalmic Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of skilled duties associated with the eye. This position assists the physician while serving as an integral member of the health care team in the treatment and care of ocular health.- Initiates and performs documentation of the patient's chief complaint, history of present illness, medical history and review of systems and pertinent ocular findings, accurately and in accordance with compliance guidelines.
- Performing special testing.
- Promptly and professionally assisting the doctor in patient care.
