Job Title:
Optometric Technician Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team. As an Optometric Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting optometrists in providing quality eye care services to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting preliminary tests, gathering patient medical history, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the optometry practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform preliminary tests such and assessments.
  • Maintain both written and electronic patient records and documentation.
  • Assist doctors in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assist front desk as needed answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, etc.
  • Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in an optical setting preferred but not required. Will train.
  • Ability to work in a team setting, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Mid-level computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
