An ophthalmic technician assists eye care professionals—such as ophthalmologists—with patient care and clinical tasks. They perform preliminary eye exams, including measuring vision, testing eye pressure, and performing diagnostic testing. Technicians prepare patients for examination, record medical histories, and operate diagnostic equipment. Strong attention to detail, technical skills, and patient communication are essential in this role.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. Experience is preferred by not required; willing to train. In this role, you will support ophthalmologists by providing high-quality patient care and assisting with patient workups. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate diagnostic testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preliminary eye exams, including visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and diagnostic testing. Prepare patients for examination. Accurately record patient medical histories and test results Operate and maintain ophthalmic diagnostic equipment Administer prescribed eye medications under supervision Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
