About us Eyes of Athens & Cleveland is a locally-owned and operated optometry practice with a great work environment - great hours, bonuses, paid holidays, opportunities including nationally-recognized certifications, professionalism, and an excellent team! Join our growing business and team. We are seeking a dependable and versatile Optometric Technician who enjoys variety in their day! This role will float between our Athens and Cleveland offices and assist the doctors clinical care. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys learning multiple aspects of patient care. Clinical Duties Perform preliminary testing (visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, OCT, visual fields, etc.) Document patient history and chief complaints accurately Prepare patients for exams and assist the doctor as needed Maintain exam rooms and equipment Front desk and optical support Qualifications Optometry technician experience preferred Willingness to cross-train in multiple roles Strong organizational and multitasking skills Friendly, professional demeanor Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Reliable transportation to travel between offices Preferred Experience with EHR systems Primary eye care experience
