Ophthalmic Technician, Uncertified Location:
Jackson, TN, 38305
Skills:
Ophthalmic Technician-Part Time Up To 19 Hours Per Week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:30a.m.-1:30 p.m. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Ophthalmologist in providing high-quality eye care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmic procedures and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Ophthalmologist in performing eye exams and diagnostic tests Prepare patients for procedures and surgeries Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the Ophthalmologist Perform basic eye tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception Record patient medical history and maintain accurate patient records Clean and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instruments Provide patient education on eye care and treatment options
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmology Technician Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy
