This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment dedicated to improving vision and quality of life. Duties Conduct diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, lensometry, motility, applanation tonometry, pupil dilation, and manifest refraction/auto-refractometry. Document all clinical findings meticulously in medical records, adhering to medical coding standards for billing and documentation purposes. Obtain prior authorizations and schedules MRI's/CT's/ Lumbar punctures per provider orders. Utilize administrative time (8 hours per week) to assist with front desk tasks including scheduling referrals. Experience Two years of ophthalmic experience, preferably within ophthalmology clinics. Hands-on experience performing diagnostic testing including Visual Field and OCT. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds.
