What You'll Do Provide great customer service to our patients Gather and input all necessary patient data into EMR system and relay all important data to the Physician Administer dilation drops when appropriate and/or perform necessary testing, including but not limited to visual acuity, glaucoma tests, OCT's, fundus, refraction, measurements of the ocular area, and etc. Focuses on the sale of the appropriate inventory to assist patient with quality eye care Adjusting and fitting frames, as well as contact lenses, according to the prescriptions and patient specifications, as well as to suit the patients face Keep inventory on frames and contact lenses to ensure product variety and patient satisfaction Educate customers on how to wear and maintain glasses and contact lenses Perform administrative duties, such as manage prescriptions, patient records, and insurance Comply with medical and ophthalmic protocols May triage and discharge patients when needed Provide patient education and care plan Identify and engage patients who are overdue for optometric services All other duties that may be necessary to deliver quality care to our patients What We're Looking For High School diploma or GED required, higher level of education preferred Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish) Preferred Optometry Certification Preferred 3 to 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or Optometry Tech/Assistant experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays Health Savings Account (HSA) Life and Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Why Lifedoc Health?
