This role requires good communication skills and multitasking. Candidates should have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and be comfortable working with individuals of all ages. We are looking for a motivated, responsible, punctual and positive-minded candidate to join our team in Austin, TX. Previous optometry experience is a plus, but not required. Training is provided. Typing and computer skills are mandatory. Part-time position available, with hours ranging from 10 AM to 6 AM (Tuesdays-Saturdays). Hours are flexible. Primary Responsibilities General reception duties - answering phone calls, scheduling appointments Insurance authorizations Administer diagnostic tests - autorefractor, tonometry, retinal scans Educate and train patients on proper contact lens care Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms & equipment Other duties (as assigned) Benefits Flexible schedule Free eye exams & contact lenses for you, and discounts for family members and friends.
