Applicants must have prior patient care experience or be high school graduate or college graduates who are in gap years for medical school or other healthcare profession careers. We have a friendly staff and are looking for a great fit. We are willing to train the right person so if you are interested in learning about the ophthalmology medical field and working with patients, this is the job for you.
Responsibilities include:
Performing basic ophthalmic testing on patients (visual fields, pressure, etc.) Interacting with patients Entering medical information into patient chart Taking inventory of equipment in work area Sanitizing work area between patients
Requirements:
Must be available to work Clinic hours M-F as early as 5:00am. Must be able to administer eye drops Must be willing to learn and adapt Must have a great attitude and work ethic (this is a busy clinic) Must be patient and friendly and able to interact with patients Must be able to keep confidentiality Must be able to push/lift 25 lbs. Previous ophthalmology experience not required.
We have two locations:
operating once a week in Grand Prairie and three times a week in Dallas. Travel to both locations will be required.
