Join our well-established and respected Ophthalmology team, committed to delivering exceptional eye care. We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Ophthalmic Technician who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about patient care and professional development. Key Responsibilities Assist the ophthalmologist by scribing patient visits and entering data into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Perform comprehensive patient workups , including: Documenting medical and ocular history Measuring Visual Acuity (VA) Performing Applanation Tonometry Conducting diagnostic tests including Visual Field Testing , Fundus Photography , and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Maintain clean and well-stocked examination rooms and diagnostic equipment. Prepare patients for minor in-office procedures. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and findings. Provide excellent patient communication and service throughout the visit. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician (required) Strong knowledge of basic ophthalmic procedures and terminology Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical data entry Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-based environment Knowledge of Refraction is a plus , but not required Preferred Certifications (Not Required) COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician) Why Join Us?
