We're looking for a motivated, friendly, and dependable individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping patients receive the best eye care experience possible. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of working in a midsize optometric office and the ability to enhance office productivity through excellent communication, organization, and patient service.
Responsibilities:
Perform preliminary testing and collect patient history before exams Conduct diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, fundus photos, and topography Assist the doctor during exams and procedures Educate patients on contact lens care, eyewear options, and general eye health Manage patient flow and prepare exam rooms Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness of the exam area Support front-desk operations as needed
Qualifications:
Pleasant and professional communication skills (in-person and on the phone) Positive attitude, friendly smile, and sense of humor Strong desire to help people and provide excellent patient care Ability to manage daily clinical and office activities efficiently Willingness to learn — training provided on all aspects of our practice Preferred Qualifications (will make our decision easier): At least 2 years of medical office or optometric experience 4-year college graduate Bilingual (Spanish is a plus)
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience and job performance.
